Allied Marine, a division of the Ferretti Group, said the Ferretti 800 motoryacht Alter Ego joined its luxury charter yacht fleet.

The 81-foot Alter Ego, which accommodates as many as eight guests in four en suite staterooms and is served by a professional captain and crew, is available for charter in Florida and the Bahamas year-round and in New England during the summer.

“Alter Ego is a beautiful late-model Ferretti 800 with impeccable living and entertainment areas and outstanding service, and we are proud to have her as a central charter agency listing,” Allied Marine superyacht division and charter director Bruce Schattenburg said in a statement.

The company said Alter Ego offers a wealth of open-air spaces on deck and an elegant interior that features exotic wood floors and décor. Windows on all sides surround its large main salon and dining areas.

On the lower deck, guest staterooms include a full-beam master suite, a VIP suite and a guest suite (all with queen berths) and a fourth suite with twin berths.

Alter Ego is equipped with the latest entertainment and communications systems, including DirecTV via satellite antenna, a Bose sound system with personal iPod docks and Sirius satellite radio, SatCom, cellphone connectivity and Wi-Fi.

The yacht delivers a 24-knot cruising speed and 32-knot top speed.

Alter Ego is available for charter through Allied Marine at a rate of $35,000 a week, plus expenses.
