Arcadia Yachts will debut its entry-level Sherpa at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

Arcadia Yachts said it will display its new 55-foot Sherpa model at the Sept. 6-11 Cannes Yachting Festival.

The Italian builder said the production of the entry-level Sherpa is part of the recent extension of its GRP range. Together with the Arcadia 100 now under construction, the company’s GRP family line spans 85 to 115 feet.

The yard said it also will unveil details about production plans for full-displacement steel/aluminum yachts from 135 to 150 feet.

Arcadia said the Sherpa was designed with the Asian market in mind, answering its request for ample shaded areas with the salon deck version. There is also a special version with an even larger shaded veranda.
