Argos Nautic names vice president of sales and marketing

Patrick Sullivan will focus on brokers, charter companies and dealers of boats 50 to 100 feet at Miami-based RIB builder Argos Nautic. 

Patrick Sullivan has joined Argos Nautic as vice president of sales and marketing at the Miami builder of semicustom luxury RIB tenders and dayboats.

The company said Sullivan is targeting brokers, charter companies and dealers of 50- to 100-foot boats to establish relationships with yacht owners and their representatives and with yacht OEMs.

He leads new-business development. Aside from telling the Argos Nautic story, he is optimizing the recently redesigned website to leverage its capabilities as a marketing and sales platform. He conducts sea trials in the Miami area.

Most recently, Sullivan was the senior executive sales representative and manager for Apax Partners Boats Group, formerly Dominion Marine Media. Before that he worked for Active Interest Media and CurtCo Media Labs, publisher of the Robb Report.

"Patrick approached the boatbuilding business from a unique angle," company CEO Ignacio Vadillo said in a statement. "He has a fresh perspective and understands the nuances of marketing and selling luxury goods. We're excited to have him as part of our team."
