As of Monday, Fabio Ermetto, 42, assumed the role of chief commercial officer of Benetti, the group’s flagship megayacht division. He has worked in the yachting industry for more than 15 years, particularly in the world of megayachts and gigayachts.

Ermetto will be responsible for “further enhancing the prestige and commercial development of Benetti, particularly in markets with a high growth rate,” the company said in a statement.

Ermetto will hand over the executive chairmanship of Fraser Yachts to Roberto Giorgi, who has held a seat on the group’s board and has served as honorary president of V. Ships, where he launched and managed the Leisure and Ship Management divisions.

Giorgi will execute Fraser Yachts’ growth strategies and coordinate its top managers. His objectives also include developing internal talent and identifying the next CEO, the company said.
