The Azimut-Benetti Group named Fabio Ermetto as the new president of the Yachtique division.

Yachtique is a superyacht services organization that incorporates all of the group’s service companies including Fraser Yachts. Services include brokerage, charter, yacht management, new construction, crew recruitment, refit, repair, finance and insurance, marinas, yacht design and luxury accessories.

Ermetto previously worked in a senior position for Benetti and also was the sales and marketing director of the Heesen shipyard in Holland for the last five years.

Outgoing president Paolo Casani established Yachtique in 2009 and successfully grew the division to become a significant part of the group's overall activity. Casani leads the Azimut Yachts and Atlantis business. His experience is fundamental to ensure the success of the yachts business line, “which today is a major challenge of the Azimut Benetti Group,” the company said in a statement.

"I sincerely thank Paolo Casani for the enormous contribution he has made to establish Yachtique and I am delighted to welcome Fabio Ermetto, whose appointment has my full support,” Azimut-Benetti Group president Paolo Vitelli said in a statement.
