Back Cove Yachts set to debut 37-footer

Rockland, Maine-based builder Back Cove Yachts will debut the Downeast 37 on July 11.

"The ideas that drive the Downeast 37 design are very simple: stop-you-in-your-tracks prettiness and the biggest, most flexible exterior spaces available on a boat this size, period," design and product development vice president Kevin Burns said in a statement.

The boat features a 12-by-12-foot cockpit with a SureShade cover. Hull No. 1 is powered by a 600-hp Cummins QSC 8.3 diesel for a cruising speed of 25 knots and top end of 29 knots.
