Baja Marine, parent company of the Baja, Donzi, Fountain and Pro-Line boat brands, signed New England WaterSports in Pembroke, Mass., as a Pro-Line dealer.

The dealership now offers the full line of Pro-Line fishing boats from 20 to 35 feet.

New England WaterSports president Jay Guthro said he chose Pro-Line to add to his existing business as a MasterCraft dealer with a saltwater-based fishing line.

“Pro-Line builds a strong boat with the brand recognition we are seeking and a strong presence on the water regionally,” Guthro said in a statement. “We have sold and serviced inboard ski and wakeboard boats exclusively since we opened in 2006, which have kept us on the lakes and ponds for the most part. It’s time for us to connect more with our local market and surrounding communities here on the South Shore.

“We are surrounded by Cape Cod Bay, and people are fishing from Gloucester to Cape Cod,” Guthro said. “It only makes sense to offer a product that will appeal to our local boating enthusiasts.”

“We are really excited to have partnered with Pro-Line and look forward to meeting a whole new group of customers,” he added.

“We’re very pleased to welcome New England WaterSports as our dealer partner,” Baja Marine CEO Johnny Walker said. “This is a major saltwater boating market and an ideal territory to sell and service our entire range of Pro-Line Boats. This is a great addition for the active New England boating community.”
