Beneteau America announced that the Sense 46 will make her West Coast debut April 11-14 at the Strictly Sail Pacific boat show in Oakland, Calif.
Passage Yachts, Beneteau’s exclusive dealer in the Bay area, will display the Sense 46 along with five other Beneteau sailing yachts.
“The Sense 46 features the core innovations of the original Sense concept,” Beneteau America sales director Denise Hanna said in a statement. “Her clever layout makes navigation and life onboard hassle-free while providing unheard-of comfort for a cruising monohull.”
Launched in 2010, the Sense concept has become a new reference in cruising monohulls for emphasizing cockpit space; a central, one-level floor plan features three steps down from the cockpit and a contemporary design throughout. The recent expansion of the range now includes four models from 43 to 55 feet.
The new 46-foot yacht is made up of three living areas — a large living space extending from the swim platform to the cockpit; a salon designed for entertaining with an aft-facing nav station, a U-shaped dinette and a fully equipped inline galley; and lastly, two cabins toward the bow, each with a private head.
