Benetti Yachts recently made organizational changes as it seeks to strengthen its presence in North America.
The company, part of the Azimut Benetti Group., appointed Fabrizio Scerch to the position of country manager Americas in Azimut Benetti USA, where he will manage sales, marketing and customer satisfaction.
With a degree in mechanical engineering from La Sapienza University in Rome and an M.B.A., Scerch has more than 15 years of experience in the sales and marketing sector for major multinational brands in the automotive and shipbuilding sectors.
Tommaso Bilotta, in his role as area manager for the Americas, will retain responsibility for the coordination of sales activities for the Americas to further strengthen Benetti’s presence in the market. Benetti’s sales department remains in the hands of Alberto Perrone da Zara.
Alessandro Gallifuoco will head a team of 23 professionals as manager of quality and after sales — part of the company’s global strategy, called Benetti Lifetime Customer Care, which it introduced early this year.
"The United States, and the Americas in general, are key markets for Benetti and the international experience of Fabrizio Scerch allows us to take an important step forward in Benetti’s policy to oversee the areas with the highest growth rate,” Benetti CEO Vincenzo Poerio said in a statement.
“The goal is to further consolidate relationships with the network of brokers and, what’s more important, with existing and potential customers, being side by side throughout the yacht’s life cycle, from its design and construction to final delivery. This [is] all without forgetting about the after-sales cycle, which has always been a part of Benetti’s philosophy.”
