Benetti Yachts, part of the Azimut Benetti Group, named Luigi Adamo general manager of Benetti Asia.

Adamo’s task will be to directly manage and coordinate sales, marketing and customer satisfaction to further reinforce the group's presence in the Asian market.

Adamo has a degree in naval engineering. With a certificate as project manager, his career in yachting began in 1994. At Benetti, he has been service manager and sales area manager.

“From my family I inherited an awareness that important objectives are achieved through lengthy and stable relationships,” Adamo said in a statement. “Loyalty towards your company is a fundamental factor in creating a solid relationship; it also makes you a recognizable figure in the industry. Consistence is synonymous with having an assiduous relationship with your owners and their representatives. Our first goal, therefore, will be to carefully work with our area brokers, increasing their knowledge of our products, and participating in our day-to-day life at Azimut Benetti.”

“Benetti's commitment to the Asian market and the company's physical presence near our clients, efficiently satisfying their needs, has consolidated our very successful leadership,” Benetti chief commercial officer Fabio Ermetto said.

“We are very proud to nominate Adamo. It demonstrates how Benetti has been able to exploit and valorize the company's internal resources. After many years profitably spent with Benetti, Adamo is now general manager Benetti Asia. Fulfilling this role after completing an excellent career while with the yard, he will certainly help increase sales in the Asian market while achieving further ambitious objectives in the Far East and the APAC.”
