Bennetti will display 140-footer at Lauderdale

The Veloce 140, the newest in Benetti Yacht’s Fast Displacement range, was recently launched and will make its world debut Oct. 30-Nov. 3 at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

The new hull was designed by Pierluigi Ausonio Naval Architecture Studio and the Azimut Benetti Research and Development Center.

The boat, called M/Y Cheers, was first built for a Brazilian yacht owner and has highly-customized interiors. The Exterior Styling & Concept was developed by Stefano Righini, while the interior design is the work of the British RWD-Redman Whiteley Dixon, in collaboration with the owner's designer.

The vessel uses the largest engine ever mounted at the Viareggio Benetti shipyard: two MTU 12V 4000 M93L 3500 mhp engines. M/Y Cheers 46 is also equipped with a system of CMC Marine electrical fin stabilizers.
