Canadian boatbuilder Pelican International is celebrating the 100th year of International Women's Day by joining forces with the Women's Cancer Research Foundation.

Throughout the year, Pelican will host fundraisers benefiting the foundation. Planned events include employee activities, such as special lunches, raffles and an on-site spa day with chair massages. Pelican also has donated a new Flow 106 standup paddleboard to the foundation for its silent auction.

The foundation coordinates the activities of numerous research physicians and frequently publishes peer-reviewed journal articles, many of which lead to critical physician education and an increased quality of life for patients.
