Boatbuilders unveil winter promotions

MasterCraft, Ribcraft and Lund Boat Company all recently introduced new winter promotions.

MasterCraft launched its new winter boat show program in which consumers can save thousands on the purchase of a new MasterCraft boat during the 2010 boat show season.

Savings include:

* $1,500 on 2010 models

* $3,000 on 2009 models

* $6,000 on 2008 models

* $8,000 on 2007 models.

The program is available for new, unregistered MasterCraft boats sold and warranty registered by participating authorized MasterCraft Dealers now through April 15.

"With dealer inventory shrinking to unprecedented levels, this program is the best opportunity to receive significant savings on the purchase of a new MasterCraft," said Parker Stair, MasterCraft director of sales, in a statement. "Our goal is to liquidate all remaining 2009 and older inventory before spring."

Ribcraft announced that for the month of January all sailing programs and yacht clubs will receive special pricing.

Any orders placed by yacht clubs or sailing programs by Jan. 31 will receive a 4 percent discount off the total purchase price of the boat. As part of this promotion, Ribcraft guarantees delivery of the RIB for the start of the 2010 sailing season.

"Having established our position as the leading builder of support and coach boats for the sailing community, we are committed to providing safe, functional and durable boats to programs and clubs," Ribcraft president Brian Gray said in a statement.

"This special promotion continues our commitment to the sport and will enable more to join the ranks of the elite clubs who rely on their Ribcrafts as a critical part of their sailing programs and race committees," he added.
