Boston Whaler recently introduced the 240 Dauntless Pro, which the company said is designed to help anglers fish inshore or offshore.

"The 240 Dauntless Pro is designed for the serious angler, with features and options that serve the technical bay boat market," Boston Whaler sales, marketing and customer service vice president Jeff Vaughn said in a statement. "It's a tremendous fishing platform with all the strengths quintessential to a Whaler: superior ride quality, ease of operation, durability and comfort."

A feature of the 240 Dauntless Pro is the new Pro Angler's Tower, which is accessible via a portside access ladder. The tower’s helm station features a cushioned leaning post and Raymarine electronics, just as the cockpit helm station does.

The boat features a single-level stern casting deck with a convenient center live well and storage. It has four rod holders on the leaning post and dedicated cooler space below. Additional options include a power pole, trolling motor and jack plate.

The bow offers seats with flip-up backrests, a removable bow cushion and optional sunshade. Aft plug-in seating drops into the transom. On the hardtop, a glass windshield and optional side curtains lend protection against the elements.

Whaler’s V-hull design works with the Mercury Verado engine up to 350 hp.

"The 240 Dauntless Pro is the total package," Vaughn said. "We're thrilled to provide anglers with an exciting new platform to help empower fishing success."
