Boston Whaler’s 160 Super Sport won an NMMA Innovation Award.

Brunswick Corp.’s Boat Group earned multiple awards and reported record sales at the Miami International Boat Show.

Sea Ray returned to a position of prominence with the launch of its SLX 350 and SLX-R 350 Outboard. Brunswick said in a statement that Sea Ray had record dayboat sales that were “up 50 percent in both units and dollars.” The company also said Boston Whaler sales were up nearly 15 percent compared with 2018.

“As one of the world’s premier boat shows, Miami was the ideal venue to unveil the first-of-its-kind SLX-R package and officially introduce the new SLX 350 on a global scale,” Huw Bower, Brunswick Boat Group president, said in the statement. “Sea Ray established the large dayboat category with the introduction of our original SLX 350, and received an overwhelmingly positive response to the newest SLX and larger dayboat models, as evidenced by sales at the show.”

Boston Whaler’s 160 Super Sport earned a National Marine Manufacturers Association Innovation Award in the Deck Boats category.

Marketing campaigns by Boston Whaler and Sea Ray received Neptune Awards from the Marine Marketers of America.

Boston Whaler, Harris, Crestliner and Lund also earned Customer Satisfaction Index awards for 2018.
