Brunswick Commercial and Government Products, a leading manufacturer of commercial and government watercraft, was recognized by its parent company, Brunswick Corp., for its safety record.

In honor of the award, Brunswick is making a $10,000 donation to a local charity on behalf of BCGP employees.

BCGP's Edgewater, Fla., facility was one of three Brunswick plants that recently received the Chairman's Safety Award for outstanding safety performance. The employees at the Edgewater plant have had a recordable incident rate of zero for the last two years and have worked more than three years without a lost-time incident.

BCGP employees chose to donate the $10,000 grant to Halifax Health-Hospice, an end-of-life care organization.
