Brunswick hands out scholarships

Brunswick Corp. awarded 80 scholarships to sons and daughters of its employees.

Each will receive a single-year award of $2,500.

The winners span across 30 Brunswick locations worldwide and represent the company's corporate staff, as well as all Brunswick business units.

"The Brunswick Foundation has an abiding belief in the value of education, as well as a deep commitment to helping the sons and daughters to achieving their goals," said B. Russell Lockridge, vice president and chief human resources officer for Brunswick.

The foundation has awarded scholarships since 1957.
