Brunswick Corp. today launched a global initiative called All Blue Planet, which the company said will focus on “inspiring our communities to pursue the restorative power of water through educational programming, events and collaborations.”

“Studies show that time spent in, on or around water is an effective way to reduce stress and improve overall wellbeing,” Brenna Preisser, executive vice president and president of business acceleration and chief strategy officer, said in a statement. “Through partnerships, All Blue Planet is focused on increasing access to the water and providing more opportunities for our communities to experience the water in all its forms.”

In addition to partnering with such local organizations as Boys and Girls Clubs, Chicago Maritime Arts Center, Catch Co. and Active Disabled Americans, the initiative will collaborate with Freedom Boat Club at Summerfest in Milwaukee, scheduled for June 23 through July 9, with a showcase tent, free boat rides, on-water education sessions with BoatClass and more.
