Brunswick names new VP and treasurer

Brunswick Corp. announced today that Randall Altman was promoted to vice president and treasurer.

He succeeds William Metzger, who recently was appointed senior vice president and chief financial officer.

The changes will be effective March 1. Altman, 41, will report to Metzger.

Altman, who is vice president and chief financial officer of Brunswick Bowling & Billiards, joined Brunswick in 2003 as senior manager of finance and later that year was promoted to director of that function.

In 2006 he was promoted to his current position. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an M.B.A., both from Michigan State University.

"Randy has played a significant role in the successful implementation of our bowling and billiards strategy and operating plans and we welcome him to this important corporate position," Brunswick CEO Dustan E. McCoy said in a statement.
