Brunswick names Sea Ray general manager in Europe

Hans Roelants

The Brunswick Boat Group announced that Hans Roelants was appointed general manager of Sea Ray in Europe. He succeeds Marcel Rijnbeek. The company said Roelants will be based in the Sea Ray office in Amsterdam.

Roelants worked for Black and Decker before joining Brunswick Marine/Mercury as director of service for the EMEA region. He held that position for two years, then was appointed country manager for Germany and Benelux for almost seven years. In that position, Roelants was accountable for the service and sales activities of Mercury Marine in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium, along with P&L responsibility.

Roelants then worked for SIG, a European supplier of insulation, exteriors, interiors and specialist construction products from June 2017 until February 2019.

A native Dutch speaker, Roelants is fluent in English, French and German.
