Mark Schwabero

Mark Schwabero

Mark Schwabero, retired chairman and chief executive officer of Brunswick Corporation, is one of the top 100 CEOs of U.S.-based companies for 2018 by CEO Today magazine. Schwabero was at the helm of Brunswick from 2016 until his retirement at the end of 2018.

CEO Today is an international publication that focuses on C-level executives, business leaders and corporate board members across the globe. The candidates for the top 100 companies are judged by a panel of judges selected by the magazine. Other 2018 recipients of the award are the CEOs at companies including AbbVie, Altria, Borg-Warner, Cardinal Health, Martin-Marietta and Verizon.

“We congratulate Mark on this most recent honor,” David Foulkes, the Brunswick CEO and Schwabero’s successor, said in a statement. “This is no surprise to those of us who know Mark and have had the pleasure to work with him. His vision, commitment to growth and innovation helped to drive our business forward.”
