Chaparral Boats and Robalo Boats awarded $60,000 in college scholarships to six graduating seniors within the Chaparral and Robalo family.

Chaparral and Robalo have awarded 58 scholarships totaling $543,000 during the last 19 years.

“Our employees are some of the hardest-working people in the marine industry and we are excited to support their children’s endeavors toward their chosen career path,” Chaparral and Robalo executive vice president Buck Pegg said in a statement. “We feel that continued education is important, and we are proud to assist them.”

Pegg and company staff congratulated the recipients and their parents during a May 31 luncheon in their honor.
