Shep Brown’s Boat Basin will become the Chaparral Boats and Vortex Jet Boats dealer on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire.

Shep Brown’s has been servicing New Hampshire’s lake region since 1919 with on-water sales, service, rentals and storage facilities. It was recently acquired by the Pratt family, which owns Goodhue & Hawkins Navy Yard, a marina in Wolfeboro, N.H.

“Lake Winnipesaukee and New Hampshire are an important area to the team at Chaparral Boats,” Aaron Krenzer, northeast sales manager for Chaparral, said in a statement. “The Pratt family has initiatives in place to grow our brands for many years to come. We look forward to a long-lasting relationship.”

“As a family-owned and operated business, we truly strive to treat our customers as we would like to be treated,” Cameron Pratt said. “New initiatives set into place at Shep Brown’s will include an expanded valet service and rental program, as well as wake surf demos.”
