Chaparral Boats unveils jetboat giveaway
As part of its ongoing 50th anniversary celebration, Chaparral Boats is giving away a 203 VR Vortex jetboat and trailer, a package the builder said has a retail value of $34,456.
"We thought giving away one of our newest and most exciting models would be a great way to celebrate Chaparral's golden anniversary," Chaparral president Jim Lane said in a statement. "The Vortex line is enjoying runaway sales at early-season boat shows. We wanted to go big and go exciting.”
The new promotion is already attracting significant interest, Lane said. The giveaway is open to residents of the contiguous 48 states. Participants must be 21 years of age to enter. The promotion is limited to one entry per person.
"Although the promotion is designed to promote interest in all of our models and throughout the entire Chaparral dealer network, we zeroed in on giving away a Vortex because it is a new product line, has massive appeal and is the perfect fit for people that want to get into boating," Lane said.
Chaparral and jet drivetrain supplier BRP Rotax are sponsoring the giveaway.
The promotion launched Jan. 9 and will end when the winner is selected in a random drawing at Chaparral's headquarters in Nashville, Ga., on or about Aug. 5. Anyone who is interested in registering can sign up at chaparralboats.com.
