Chris-Craft said it has hired Ryan Mckeone as a regional sales associate.

Mckeone will be responsible for dealer sales and service in 21 Southern and Western states.

The company said Mckeone is a recent graduate of the Florida Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing.

He comes to Chris-Craft with retail sales experience in the industry — most recently with Boater’s Exchange, a dealership in Rockledge, Fla. He also has been a licensed Coast Guard captain since he was 18 and has worked aboard numerous boats and yachts. He also was a delivery captain and attended shows as a factory representative for Everglades Boats.

“We welcome Ryan to Chris-Craft. We are excited to have his expert boating experience, youthful enthusiasm and energetic work ethic,” Gavan Hunt, the company’s vice president of sales, said in a statement. “We look forward to many successful years growing with Ryan as we assist the continued growth of our dealer network,”

The company said Mckeone will be at upcoming Southern and Western shows.
