HydroHoist of Alabama was named Dealer of the Year for 2008 during HydroHoist Marine Group's Dealer and Customer Appreciation Meeting for the Southeast region, April 29.

"HydroHoist of Alabama has emerged as one of our most elite dealerships thanks to a culture and structure that is truly unique to our industry," said Mick Webber, president and CEO of HyrdoHoist Marine Group, in a statement. "The Beasley family is recognized throughout Alabama as competent, capable and always fair to deal with. They truly are a partner to our company and we greatly value the relationship."

Harold Beasley, president of HydroHoist of Alabama, accepted the award on behalf of the Jasper, Ala., dealership. He said the award "is a testament to our continuous emphasis on customer service and support. We strive to always provide the absolute highest level of service to our customers."

Portland Boat Works in Connecticut, a Tiara Yachts Platinum dealer, is adding a new Stamford Landing location in Fairfield County, Conn.

Paul Barton and his staff at Portland Boat Works will introduce themselves to area boaters, particularly Tiara owners, and christen their new location with an open house this weekend. Sea trials of the Volvo IPS powered 4300 SovranTM and 3600 Open are available by appointment.

"Both Portland Boat Works and Tiara Yachts understand the importance of a new location in Fairfield County to better serve the boaters in this area. To make this addition now shows Portland's commitment to serving this market, its customers and the Tiara Yachts brand," said Nick Bischoff, vice president of sales and marketing for Michigan-based Tiara Yachts, in a statement.
