Dometic Marine set to debut new products at IBEX

Dometic Marine announced that it will launch several new products Oct. 2-4 at the International BoatBuilders’ Exposition and Conference in Louisville, Ky.

Dometic will introduce its new range of SeaLand lighted flush-control panels, which are designed for marine toilet systems.

Both the VacuFlush and Dometic series of panels feature backlit buttons that are easy to locate in the dark, the company said. Specially engineered panel brackets can be fitted with Vimar Idea, Vimar Eikon, Gewiss Chorus and Gewiss Playbus style frames to match other on-board electronic controls. A standard Dometic frame is also available.

The company also said it will launch its new Gold Series (AU) Air Handlers at IBEX. Offering innovative features that have not previously been available in air handler units, the unique Gold Series Air Handler is set to significantly benefit boatbuilders and owners by eliminating rust, reducing water spillage and ensuring quicker installation, the company said.

Lastly, Dometic will unveil its Eskimo Ice EI1000D at IBEX. The ice maker produces as much as1,000 pounds (454 kg) of fishbox ice a day, or nearly 42 pounds (19 kg) an hour, and the self-contained unit is compact while still providing a high capacity, the company said.
