Dr. Shrink plans donations to Red Cross

Combining efforts to help the environment and people, Dr. Shrink will contribute $1.50 to the American Red Cross for every Rebag recycling kit sold.

"We're glad to help both the planet and society," company president Mike Stenberg said in a statement. "Users can contribute to two great causes and we're happy to help them take the steps."

Dr. Shrink has recycled approximately 16,500 shrink-wrap covers in the United States since 2009.
