Feadship has announced Francois van Well will step down as president of Feadship America as of April 1.

He will be joining Fort Lauderdale-based Merle Wood & Associates.

"I know it has become somewhat of a cliché to say one is moving on to a new challenge, but in my case this is genuinely so," Van Well said in a statement. "After more than 13 memorable years at Feadship, both in the Netherlands and in the U.S., I felt the time was right for a change of direction towards more direct involvement in superyacht sales and being able to help clients find the right yacht, be it new, preowned or charter."
