Two new Riva models made their Persian Gulf debut during the Formula 1 auto race that wrapped up Sunday in Abu Dhabi.

The new Riva 88 Florida and the 88 Domino Super were displayed in Abu Dhabi during the Etihad Airways Gran Prix, the last race of the 2015 Formula 1 world championship.

“We did not wanted to miss Abu Dhabi’s most important sport event, the one capable to capture the attention of those fond of motors all over the world, enchanted by the fascination of speed, the most advanced engineering research, combined with the standing beauty of the Yas Marina circuit hosting the most fascinating event in the Gulf,” Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi said in a statement.

“Motorsport world shares all this with yachting, together with the passion for cars and the thrill that it gives us. That is the reason why we decided to be part of this show and introduce, in the framework of this racing weekend, the last two models of the ‘stable’ Riva,” Galassi said.

During the Abu Dhabi Etihad Airways Gran Prix, which took place Nov. 27-29, the Riva brand was displayed on the helmets of both of the Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 drivers.
