Ferretti will display yachts at Russian show

The Ferretti Group said it is presenting two of its most successful yachts — the Ferretti 530, representing Ferretti Yachts, and the 27-foot Iseo by Riva — to the Russian market for the first time at the Moscow Boat Show, which opens today and continues through Sunday.

The show also offers Ferretti an opportunity to announce the renewal of its exclusive dealership agreement for the Russian Federation with its partner, Premium Yachts, which will represent the Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Itama, Bertram, Riva e Mochi Craft and Ferretti Custom Line brands.

The deal was officially announced today during a press conference and is part of a Ferretti strategy for further expansion in European markets that the builder believes offer the best short- and medium-term growth opportunities.

Ferretti said the Russian boating market has great potential because of a rapid growth in average wealth among the population and an increasing interest in luxury goods made in Italy. Ferretti said the agreement with Premium Yachts will further strengthen the builder’s distribution network, which includes about 60 dealers in more than 80 countries worldwide, as well as its presence in the traditional Europe, Middle East and Africa area.

Ferretti also said it is expecting increasing interest in the Russian market not only in flying bridge yachts larger than 70 feet, but also in smaller boats, both flybridge and open/coupe models, which the builder said are particularly suitable for river cruising or pleasure boating in Russia’s large lakes.
