Fire halts production at Crownline Boats

Crownline Boats announced production is cancelled today because of an early-morning ventilation fire on Wednesday.

No injuries were reported.

“Crownline Boats is announcing that production is cancelled for Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011. Employees in certain departments will be working to meet year-end dealer production requirements,” the company said in a statement released to local media.

“Crownline will resume production on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, as previously scheduled,” the boatbuilder added.
