The 430 ASC combines performance, cruising and recreation in one boat.

Formula Boats will feature its 430 ASC, a 43-foot boat with a 12-foot beam that the company says can accomplish multiple missions, at the Nov. 1-5 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

With its open cockpit design and bow, it has plenty of space for dayboating. The 52-gallon live well, rod holders and port-side fish box make the 430 ASC a serious offshore fishing boat. Belowdecks, there’s sleeping accommodations for four in a cabin that has full stand-up headroom. Lastly, for performance enthusiasts, the boat has a twin-stepped bottom and is powered by four outboards rated for as much as a total of 1,600 hp.

The 430 ASC’s helm features twin Raymarine Axiom Pro 12 GPS multifunction displays, with an upgrade to twin or triple gS165s available. Digital switching with a helm-mounted Raymarine gS95 display and wireless iPad control let the owner control on-board systems from anywhere on the boat.

Formula calls the fishing areas Action Stations and one has bait prep and tackle storage to starboard; the live well module is aft. The prep station has a freshwater sink, removable cutting board, raw-water hose and storage in the base with enough space for a 5-gallon bucket. The live well is pressurized and can be emptied to accommodate four dive tanks. An aft-facing bench seat in the transom flips down. Aft, there are 14 rodholders and outriggers are available for the hardtop.

In the cabin there’s a fully appointed galley, a dining lounge that converts to a berth, an enclosed head and a full-width aft stateroom.
