Frisini Motorsports purchased a new 5-acre facility in Fort Pierce, Fla., for the production of its Sonic, Spectre and Frisini boat lines.

"It just makes good business sense," owner Tony Frisina said in a statement. "Not having a lease or mortgage payment decreases the company's operating expenses, making it easier for us to invest in R&D and more advanced equipment."

"The new facility is just a few minutes away from Port St. Lucie, which offers boating through the [Intracoastal Waterway]l or out in the Atlantic Ocean," he added.
