Yannick Madiot has been appointed chief operating officer for Groupe Beneteau Americas. George Armendariz, CEO of Groupe Beneteau Americas, made the announcement today. Madiot was vice president of finance and administration for Beneteau USA from 2002 to 2010.
“We are very excited to have Yannick back on board with us as we continue to grow our brands to new heights on this side of the Atlantic,” said Armendariz in a statement.
Madiot will supervise support activities, including IT, human resources, and finance. He will also provide oversight to the Group’s production facilities in Marion, S.C. and Cadillac, Michigan.
Madiot worked for eight years with Groupe Beneteau in the U.S. and returned to France in 2010 to join the WEIR Group, an industrial equipment manufacturer. He was first finance director for France and later EMEA. In 2013, he was appointed managing director of the Safety Valves division inside Weir Flow Control.
