Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Epco Products said members of Independent Boat Builders Inc. chose it to be their preferred supplier for bow and stern eyes.

"Epco winning this bid is testament to the fact that American companies can outperform the importers," sales manager Robert Prince said in a statement.

"We've designed a program specifically tailored to meet the needs of IBBI members," he added. "The program is composed of competitive pricing, no minimum orders, kan ban stocking of members' parts to ensure an uninterrupted supply chain comprised of 100 percent on-time shipments, free prototyping services, a 100 percent buyback program on stock parts and a five-year warranty from the date of installation."
