Sunsail adds Lagoon catamarans
Sunsail, a luxury charter company, has added Lagoon catamarans to its charter fleet in 2019. Lagoon’s 464 and 424 sailing cats will join Robertson and Caine catamarans at Sunsail locations throughout the Caribbean. The new boats are expected to arrive in the winter of 2019.
“It is exciting to welcome Lagoon to our charter fleet, alongside our extensive Leopard Catamarans range, expanding our product offering in response to growing market demand,” Josie Tucci, vice president of sales and marketing for Sunsail, said in a statement.
The Sunsail 464 has a four-cabin four-head layout with the deck on a single level, with air conditioning and a watermaker. It will be at Sunsail locations in the Bahamas, St. Lucia, Grenada, St Martin, the British Virgin Islands and Belize. The Sunsail 424 has a similar layout and standard-features list.
Chris Craft adds Colorado dealer
Chris-Craft Corporation has added Action Watersports Colorado to its dealer network. Located in Commerce City, Colo., since January 2015, Action Watersports provides full sales and service. The company displayed Chris-Craft’s Launch 23, Launch 27 and Launch 28 GT at the Denver Boat Show last week.

Nautique named exclusive towboat of Surf Ranch Lemoore
Nautique Boat Company and Kelly Slater Wave Company have formed a marketing partnership with the wakesports boat manufacturer becoming the exclusive towboat of Slater’s Surf Ranch Lemoore. A Super Air Nautique will be on site to provide ranch guests another way to get on the water.
“We are very excited about this new partnership and where it will take wakesurfing,” said Greg Meloon, Nautique president, in a statement. “KSWC and the World Surf League are brands that are innovating and growing the sport of surfing. Stan Miller Yachts named West Coast dealer for Kadey-Krogen and Summit
Kadey-Krogen Yachts has named Stan Miller as the new West Coast dealer for its line of long-range trawlers and Summit motor yachts. Stan Miller Yachts has eight sales professionals and four offices in Seattle, Long Beach, Newport Beach and San Diego. Additionally, longtime Kadey-Krogen sales person Dennis Lawrence will join the Stan Miller Yachts team in Seattle.

Sailors’ Society has named Yanming Bay of Safety Innovators International Pte Ltd as an ambassador for its Singapore Group.
The Sailors’ Society is a global seafarers’ charity that has been operating for more than 200 years. Yanming Bay is a distributor for WesCom Signal and Rescue, a supplier of marine distress signals.
Sailors’ Society was founded in 1818 and the charity has worked globally to support sailors with pastoral care and services including connecting seafarers to loved ones via practical services such as phone cards.
Established in 1987, Safety Innovators International Pte Ltd provides marine safety equipment to the marine, offshore, oil and gas and industrial sectors. Yanming Bay has been the been the business development manager at Safety Innovators International for 12 years.
“I feel honored to have been invited to become an ambassador for Sailors’ Society,” Bay said in a statement. “This is a way that we can give back to the community. Sailors’ Society does such valuable work with seafarers and their families worldwide and I am proud to represent the Singapore region. False Creek Fuels now carrying ValvTect
ValvTect has added False Creek Fuels of Vancouver, B.C., as a certified marina to market the company’s marine fuels.
False Creek owns the marine fuel station that has new fuel storage tanks, piping and dispensing equipment. It’s centrally located in Vancouver and services a variety of commercial, government and recreational vessels.
“In addition to our certified marina in the Cayman Islands, we are looking at rapid expansion into the Toronto market this spring, further expansion in the Caribbean with our new strategic alliance with the largest independent fuel distributor on the islands, marinas in Panama and through European production at our sister company, into the United Kingdom,” said Marvin Griffin, president of ValvTect Petroleum Products, in a statement.
