KVH Industries names sales rep of the year

KVH Industries recently awarded its annual Sales Representative of the Year Award to Norm MacLeod, vice president of sales at ComMar Sales in Tiverton, R.I.

KVH says MacLeod was chosen because of his commitment to KVH, strong sales performance and consistently high dealer satisfaction ratings.

"He is incredibly dedicated and really believes in KVH products because he's seen their reliability and performance for himself over the years," said Jim George, director of sales for KVH, in a statement. "Norm is thorough, professional and 100 percent committed to making sure our authorized dealers have everything they need to sell and service our products to exacting standards."

For more than 25 years, McLeod has worked as a manufacturer's representative and as a sales manager for marine manufacturers. At ComMar, he has developed strong relationships with OEM, mass merchant, dealer and distributor accounts. His sailing experience and knowledge of the powerboat market help him to provide valuable insight to manufacturers, according to KVH

McLeod also has served on the board of the National Marine Manufacturers Association and National Marine Representatives Association and as NMRA president from 2007-2008.
