KVH Industries opens headquarters in Asia

KVH Industries today officially opened its new Asia-Pacific headquarters, KVH Industries Pte Ltd., in Singapore.

The new facility features a state-of-the-art demo and training lab where KVH partners and customers can observe the company’s TracPhone, TracVision and CommBoxproducts.

“This region is critically important to maritime commerce around the globe, and we feel that it is important to have permanent staff and facilities here to ensure the best service for KVH customers and partners,” CEO Martin Kits van Heyningen said in a statement. “KVH’s mini-VSAT Broadband satellite communications network and TracPhone, CommBox and TracVision systems offer tremendous benefits to the ships, large and small, that operate in these waters. We look forward to serving mariners not just in Singapore, but throughout the Asia-Pacific region.”
