Bruce Sargent is retiring from Glastron Boats after serving the company in various capacities for 45 years.

Sargent began his career with Glastron in 1972 in Austin, Texas, as general accounting manager and transitioned to sales after a stint as parts and accessories manager.

On the sales side, Sargent served as sales coordinator and regional sales manager, vice president of sales and marketing and, most recently, regional sales manager for Groupe Beneteau (central United States and Canadian regions).

“Bruce’s knowledge and commitment to detail will surely be missed as he moves forward with the next chapter of his journey,” Andy Lindsay, Groupe Beneteau sales vice president, said in a statement. “Knowing Bruce personally, we know how deserving he is of a pleasant future. So we wish our dear friend a wonderful retirement and much luck on the golf course.”

Sargent’s retirement is effective June 1.
