Malibu Boats holds dealer meeting in San Diego

The annual Malibu and Axis dealer meeting brought more than 300 dealers to San Diego, where the Axis Wake T23 was unveiled and the company handed out dealer awards.

Seminars and breakout sessions filled the following two days, with the Malibu and Axis sales team delivering key presentations to familiarize dealers with the 2015 lineup.

One of the breakout sessions at the November event included on-the-water time with the Axis T23, the new Malibu Wakesetter 22 VLX and several other boats in the new lineup.

A ’70s-themed party was documented on Facebook, and prizes were awarded for a dance-off and the best-dressed dealers.

“In five short years, Malibu and Axis has gone from an equal and one of the pack to the dominant player in performance sports boats, by far,” Malibu and Axis CO Jack Springer said at the event. “This is due to the phenomenal dealers that we have as partners. We know our dealers leave here charged up, but we do also, just from spending time with them and partnering with ideas. I said throughout our IPO that we have the best dealers in the world, and this fact was driven home again during our dealer meeting.”
