The National Association of Manufacturers will hold a Supply Chain Innovation seminar on May 23 in Houston.

The association will teach how organizations can maximize supply chain performance “in a time of unprecedented uncertainty over global supply chains.”

Speakers at the event will address best practices and innovative approaches to supplier relationships, present findings from NAM’s supply chain innovation survey, share how manufacturers can use practical analytics to improve supply chain performance and consider supply chain strategies in a “buy American-hire American” world.

Special guest speaker Ryan Lance, chairman and CEO of ConocoPhillips, one of the world’s largest independent oil and natural gas producers, will describe how industry business cycles are driving change and inspiring innovation in the relationship between his company and its numerous suppliers, according to the National Marine Manufacturers Association, which is an NAM member.

The NMMA said experts from leading NAM member companies, including Grant Thornton and Esri, will provide insight on supply chain trends, strategies and best practices.
