Jon Kraemer was named regional sales manager at Marquis Yachts LLC, the Wisconsin-based builder of the Carver and Marquis brands.

“We are confident Jon will bring great insight and talent to the Marquis brand because of his solid experience working in the sales of boats and yachts,” Marquis Yachts global sales vice president Matthew VanGrunsven said in a statement. “I am pleased to work alongside a talented professional with his track record.”

Kraemer will be responsible for assisting VanGrunsven in developing the company’s sales strategy, as well as monitoring and coordinating ongoing sales events and managing wholesale and retail transactions.

Before joining Marquis, Kraemer was general manager at Ed’s Boat Sales, which has locations in Sturgeon Bay and Green Bay, Wis.

Kraemer joins the company during a year of aggressive product and sales growth. In 2013 the Carver division is releasing three newly designed yachts. The C34 and C40 have been unveiled, and the 37-foot Coupé will be released later this year.
