MasterCraft changes its name

MCBC Holdings, Inc. said it has changed its named to MasterCraft Boat Holdings Inc. The company is the parent of MasterCraft Boat Company LLC, NauticStar LLC, and Crest Marine LLC.

CEO Terry McNew said that MCBC does not reflect the “premium, iconic nature” of the MasterCraft brand. “The new name – MasterCraft Boat Holdings – will continue to represent a powerboat portfolio recognized for innovation, performance, premium quality and strong growth,” said McNew in a statement. “It also expands our recognition with both institutional and retail investors as a company focused on providing attractive returns to shareholders.”

Its ticker symbol on NASDAQ will remain “MCFT.” The names of its subsidiaries will also not be affected.
