Mazu Yachts will have three models make their debut in September at the 2017 Cannes Yachting Festival.
The 38 Open, the 38 Soft Top and the 42 Walk-Around will be introduced at the popular fall event.
The Turkish builder said it is launching the 38 Soft Top this month, and the 38 Open has been on the water, as well. The 42 Walk-Around is expected to be launched in July.
All three boats have open cockpits for entertaining, with sleeping accommodations belowdecks. The Mazu 38 Soft Top was designed by Halit Yukay and was sold to a client who wanted a “military look” and superyacht tender features. Equipped with twin Volvo Penta IPS 400 engines, the boat reportedly runs 39 mph.
The Mazu 38 Open has an open layout with al-fresco dining on the aft deck, including a table with a drop-in leaf, a grill, a bimini top and an aft deck shower. The hand-laid carbon hull can run 41 mph with IPS 400 power and tops 50 mph with the more powerful IPS 600s.
The 42 Walk-Around center-console model has a modern superstructure that leaves space for passage on each side. It’s designed with plenty of freeboard to keep a family secure.
There’s an ample sunbathing area aft, and the cockpit has a V-shaped settee with a smaller seat on the front of the console. Aft the swim platform provides space for watersports and is designed for easy boarding from shore or a dock.
Twin IPS 600s push the 42 Walk-Around to 54 mph with a cruise of just under 37 mph.
