Nautic Alert has chosen Gemeco as the exclusive distributor of its safety and monitoring products.

“We choose Gemeco specifically because of their exceptional beginning-to-end personalized support they deliver to our customers,” Nick Velado, who works in product development and engineering at Nautic Alert, said in a statement.

“The Nautic Alert brand stands for precision engineering, ease of use and a user experience like no other. As a first-class distributor, Gemeco fits that role perfectly.”

The company’s latest technology is demonstrated in the new Insight X2, an Internet of Things marine telematics solution for boat monitoring, yacht monitoring and security.

The X2 is the recipient of Sail magazine’s 2017 Freeman K. Pittman Innovation Award.

“We are honored to have been chosen to represent a company and product line with some of the most innovative technology I’ve seen to date,” said Peter Braffitt, Gemeco’s general manager. “Nautic Alert’s new Insight X2 is setting new industry standards for monitoring, security and safety.”

The company will launch the Insight X2 at the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition & Conference in Tampa this week.
