Nautique held a celebration Tuesday in Orlando, Fla., to mark 85 years of boatbuilding.

Nautique has been responsible for numerous innovations through the years, including the first dedicated water-ski boat and the first wakeboard tower.

For 2010, Nautique has developed the Optimal Surface Control hull for the new Ski Nautique 200 that the company says will provide a flatter wake and a smoother exit.
