Flegel, 16, is from southern Florida and started wakeboarding at the age of 4. This season, Flegel had multiple wins and was crowned the 2013 Junior Pro Tour Champion and the Overton’s Junior Pro Champion.

In 2012 he took home two wins in the Surf and Skim division at Wakesurf Worlds and will turn professional next year.

“Joining the Nautique team has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid and I'm honored to be representing such a flawless product,” Flegel said in a statement.

“Nautique is thrilled to sign Noah, another up-and-coming rider, to its elite team of athletes,” Nautique president and CEO Bill Yeargin said in a statement.
