Navico wins vendor of the year award

Navico, parent of the Lowrance, Simrad Yachting and B&G brands, was named Big Rock Sports' 2010 Vendor of the Year for the Central Region.

Navico was recognized for its operational excellence, product innovation and committed support to the Big Rock wholesale distribution network at all levels of the organization. The award was announced at the recent Big Rock East Dealer Show in Raleigh, N.C.

"We are honored to be named Big Rock Sports' 2010 Vendor of the Year for the Central Region," said Louis Chemi, chief operating officer of Navico Americas, in a statement. "This recognition confirms we're on the right track of delivering industry-leading product, service and customer support."

Big Rock Sports is the parent company of All Sports, AWR Sports, CSI Sports, Henry's and MT Sports distribution centers. One of the largest wholesalers in the country, Big Rock carries more than 190,000 SKUs from thousands of vendor suppliers.
