Amy Gobel, Pursuit Boats

Amy Gobel was promoted to director of marketing for Pursuit Boats. Gobel previously was marketing manager, overseeing the website launch, and managing video, photography and content creation, as well as print and digital advertising campaigns. In the new role, Gobel will be responsible for all aspects of Pursuit’s branding, lead generation, data-based marketing efforts and other initiatives. “Amy has been an integral part of the sales and marketing team, initiating many changes and updates,” said George Hetzel, vice president of sales and marketing, in a statement. “Now she is in a position to further grow and expand the Pursuit brand.”

Courtney Wagley, Tige Boats

Courtney Wagley was promoted to the director of marketing at Tige Boats. Wagley joined TeamTige in 2012 as communications coordinator and was promoted to marketing manager in 2015. “Courtney is extremely passionate about the Tige brand, hard-working and has tremendous vision for the direction of Tige’s marketing strategies,” said Charlie Pigeon, founder and CEO of Tige Boats. “Part of what makes Courtney such a great fit is that she brings a really broad set of skills and experiences that gives her a well-rounded view into all aspects of marketing.”

James Thomas, Jimmy King, Annapolis Yacht Sales

James Thomas and Jimmy King joined Annapolis Yacht Sales’ service team. Thomas, who has 30 years of experience in the marine industry, has expertise in engines and holds certifications, such as Cruisair.

King brings more than 25 years of industry experience to AYS and has worked on many powerboat brands. AYS said his service adds depth to the AYS service department. “James and Jimmy are both key additions to the AYS service team," Tom Turner, director of service, said in a statement. "They bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our service department, and we are excited to have them on our team at AYS." Annapolis Yacht Sales is one of the largest dealers on Chesapeake Bay.
